Branding and marketing for institutions

An institution’s reputation is built over decades and can be dented in a week. Families compare websites, reviews and rankings long before they visit, and a single misleading claim about accreditation or placements can undo years of work.

We help institutions present themselves honestly and well: admissions campaigns that produce enrolments rather than clicks, websites that are accessible, fast and complete, and a calm, prepared approach to reputation. Every claim we publish for you is backed by evidence you hold.

The problem we solve

Admissions marketing is often handed to an agency each season, with budgets spent on leads that are never followed up, bought data with no consent, and creative that overstates placements or rankings. The website is out of date, slow on a phone, inaccessible to screen-reader users and missing the disclosures regulators and accreditors expect. Reviews and social media complaints go unanswered until one goes viral. And the marketing team, admissions office and IT each hold a different version of the truth.

What you have at the end

  • A brand and message that are clear, consistent and backed by evidence.
  • Admissions campaigns measured on applications and enrolments, not impressions.
  • Lead data collected with valid consent and handed straight to the admissions CRM.
  • An accessible, fast institutional website your own team can keep current.
  • A reputation-monitoring routine and a response playbook prepared before you need it.

Scope of service

01

Admissions-season campaigns

We plan and run campaigns across search, social, education portals, schools outreach and local media, timed to your admission cycle. Every lead lands in the admissions CRM with its source, so spend is judged on applications and enrolments.

Deliverables

  • Campaign plan by programme, region and channel
  • Creative and landing pages, reviewed for accuracy of every claim
  • Lead capture with DPDP-compliant consent, routed to the CRM
  • Weekly reporting from lead to enrolment, by source
02

Institutional websites

We design and build institutional websites that a parent can use on a phone and a screen-reader user can use at all. They carry the mandatory disclosures that UGC, AICTE and NAAC expect, in a structure that is easy to keep current, and run on our sovereign cloud.

Deliverables

  • Information architecture and content plan, including mandatory disclosures
  • Accessible design and build to WCAG 2.1 AA
  • Indian-language versions where needed
  • Content management with roles and approval workflow
  • Hosting, security updates and uptime monitoring
03

Reputation management

We monitor reviews, search results, social media and the news for mentions of your institution, respond where a response helps, and escalate where it does not. When something serious happens, a prepared playbook means you respond with facts and speed rather than silence or panic. We do not post fake reviews or suppress genuine ones.

Deliverables

  • Monitoring across review sites, search, social and news
  • Response guidelines and approval routes
  • Crisis communication playbook and holding statements
  • Monthly reputation report
04

Brand identity and admissions collateral

Where the brand itself needs work, we help you define what the institution stands for and express it consistently: identity guidelines, prospectus, programme brochures and presentation templates, in print and digital.

Deliverables

  • Brand positioning and messaging framework
  • Visual identity guidelines
  • Prospectus and programme brochures
  • Templates for faculty and admissions teams
05

Claims and evidence review

Accreditation grades, rankings, placement figures and faculty credentials are where marketing most often goes wrong. Before anything is published we check each claim against current evidence and record the source, so you can answer any challenge from a regulator, a parent or the press.

Deliverables

  • Claims register with evidence and expiry date for each claim
  • Pre-publication review of campaign and website copy
  • Annual refresh as NAAC, NIRF and placement data change

How an engagement runs

  1. 01

    Listen

We read what students, parents, reviewers and the press already say about you, and audit your website, campaigns and lead handling.

  2. 02

    Position

With leadership we agree what the institution stands for and which claims we can prove, and set up the claims register.

  3. 03

    Build

Website, collateral and campaign assets are produced and reviewed for accuracy, accessibility and consent.

  4. 04

    Run the season

We run the admissions campaign with weekly lead-to-enrolment reviews, adjusting spend to what actually converts.

  5. 05

    Sustain

Reputation monitoring and website upkeep continue through the year, with a review after each admission cycle.

Questions, answered

Do you buy student data or lead lists?

No. Under the DPDP Act, personal data needs a lawful basis such as consent for a specific purpose, and bought lists rarely have it. We generate leads through your own campaigns with consent recorded at capture.

Can you improve our NIRF ranking?

Not through marketing alone. NIRF is mostly based on data you submit about teaching, research, outcomes and inclusivity; it does include a perception component, but the reliable route is better data and better outcomes. Our compliance and tech consultancy teams help with the data side.

Will you remove negative reviews?

We will flag reviews that breach a platform’s policies and help you respond to the rest. We will not post fake reviews or try to bury genuine criticism. Responding well usually does more for your reputation than removal ever could.

How do you measure campaign success?

By applications, admissions and fee-paid enrolments, attributed to source through the CRM. Clicks and impressions are reported for diagnosis, not as the result.
